Просматривая большинство матчей и участвуя в играх, мы частенько эмоционально реагируем на партнеров, судей и публику. На серьезных соревнованиях это происходит постоянно. Но редко увидишь, что например после пререкания или ругательства с судьей игрок смог извиниться, или просто подойти и разобрать ситуацию после игры в другой обстановке.
Являясь подписчиком многих страниц на Facebook было приятно узнать, что Тодд Роджерс (а он частенько верещит на судей), признался что был очень эмоционален и принес свои публичные извинения за эпизод, который был на Grand Slam Mazury, Poland. Видео с Youtube стало очень популярным.

“I do my best to be civil to referees, players and fans but sometimes I do get hot under the collar. Clearly in this video I was a bit hot under the collar. In no way do I condone my behavior and in fact I apologized to the referee the next time I saw her in the day. Other than that play in that match she was perfect and I complimented her on that fact in our next discussion.
Everyone makes mistakes whether it is referees or professional beach volleyball players. I was in the wrong here. However, the reason I posted this video was for people to see that I am human. When I play I tend to be very quiet and subdued on the court making as few mistakes as possible. I made a mistake and I want to publicly apologize to the ref who made the call as well as anyone who was offended by my behavior.”
